About Me

I have over 35 years of experience in real estate and mortgage banking at the senior management level and have developed and managed mortgage loan production operations for many years for Pulte Homes, the nation’s largest builder and for K. Hovnanian Enterprises, the seventh largest builder.
 

I grew up in the New York area and have been living in the South Shore of Tampa Bay for the past 13 years. In the early 2000s my wife and I decided to start investing in waterfront properties on the Gulf Coast of Florida. From 2003 to 2006 we purchased 5 properties and unfortunately, like so many other families, we got creamed in the real estate collapse in 2006.  We lost everything – all the properties and any retirement funds that we had accumulated. At the age of 65, starting over looked like an impossible task.
 

Rather than wallow in depression, I made the decision to reinvent myself and to use those terrible circumstances positively to assist others who may be facing that same process. I joined CENTURY 21 Beggins Enterprises in 2009 and discovered something - Not only was my experience valuable in helping others but I was very good at it - And not only with distressed properties but with all kinds of real estate in our market with all kinds of buyers and sellers.  I am currently one of the top producers in our company, which is, by the way, one of the leading Real Estate organizations in the entire CENTURY 21 network.  I love what I do and enjoy seeing my clients realize their goals in their real estate transactions.  What is not to love living and working in one of the best markets in the country – where the sun shines over 300 days every year – Tampa Bay.
 

As far as outside activities, I was formerly the Board Chairman of Love, Inc. a non-profit subsidiary of World Vision in New Jersey that focused on obtaining affordable housing for the underprivileged, and on the problems of the homeless in central New Jersey. I am also active in my church, FishHawk Fellowship, where I have served as Treasurer and as a member of the Finance Committee.
